CEC Software Patent Consultation 2000 Submissions: Seoane & Fernandez

Professor Joaquin Seoane, Ramón García Fernández, 2 spanish scientists, say that the problem of triviality in the patent system must be solved before any software patents can be accepted, since the latter tend to be even more trivial and damaging than conventional patents. The authors explain that patent offices show no interest in solving the problem of triviality and that current patent law is not suited to solve it.
