CEC Software Patent Consultation 2000 Submissions: KLID

KLID.dk, Kommercielle Linux Interessenter i Danmark, Danish organisation of Linux-related companies, represented by Keld Simonsen, says that there is no economic rationale for granting software patents, that they particularly harm opensource software, and that patentability should be limited to physical inventions, i.e. processes that require more than ordinary computer equipment to run on.
