#Den: The WIPO has got it trough that April 26th will be celebrateted under
the hood of the United Nations as the %(q:day of intellectual
property). With the myth of %(q:intellectual property) the WIPO
supports attempts from the beginning to unchain the patent law from
its social-economic justification and form it into a self purpose.

#DMh: The WTO bound TRIPs treaty of 1993 requests patentability on %(q:all
areas on the field of technology) and a world wide obligatory minimum
patent duration of 20 years. Newer WIPO treaty drafts like the SPLT do
leave out the as a limit interpreteable word %(q:technology) and do
request unlimited patentability in conjunction with a request for a
strong limit on the reasonalbe requirements on the quality of a
patents.
